Association of Chinese Professors in Social Sciences (ACPSS)
The Association of Chinese Professors of Social Sciences in the United States (ACPSS) was founded in June 1995 by a group of Chinese professors and researchers of social sciences and humanities residing in North America. ACPSS currently has more than 300 registered members most of whom hold Ph.D. degrees and are working in academic and research institutions. The advisory committee of ACPSS is formed by internationally renowned scholars. APSS has its official journal American Review of China Studies and publishes peer-reviewed research papers bi-annually.

A loosely organized world-wide professional community, the Global Forum of Chinese Political Scientists was founded in 1999 in response to the greater need for understanding of the rise of China.
